Short but sweet!I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with your friends and families! A few quick notes before our update:
-Political -Topographical -Climate -World -Population -Road -Physical -Resource Ask your child what each map is used for! Building upon this knowledge, we are going to learn specific geography of Canada. Students will need to know all provinces, territories, provincial capitals and our national capital. We will begin this next week, but students are encourage to access this website over the weekend (especially since Monday is a PD Day) to play and explore our country.
In Language Arts, students from 5E and 5F wrote their second Spelling quiz/celebration today. They will be bringing their quizzes home on Tuesday to share with you. I will have a record of their results so they are yours to keep and celebrate! Our words for next week will be focusing on commonly confused spellings. Since it is a short week again, we will only focus on 10 words.
